Australian Tourist to Bali Increased

Statistics shown that Australian tourists visiting Bali in 2009 made significant increase compared to the previous year of 2008. Comparing the first twelve months of 2009 to the same period of 2008 there was an increase of almost 40%. More details can be found in the news published by Seminyak Villas Online.
The latest situation gave every reasons needed for the above trend beyond the fact that, being the nearest off-shore tropical paradise, Bali has always been favorite to Australian holiday makers. Among other reasons was increasing frequency of low-fare airlines connecting Bali with Australian major cities. Another reason is security measure especially after Indonesian anti-terror squad killed both masterminds behind Bali bomb tragedies.
Maybe being close is one of the major reason, but there are many other destinations where Australian tourists can comfortably go. On-shore they have fabulous gold coast. Off shore there are some attractive tropical island in the Pacific. New AirAsia-X service to KL provides low fare options to reach farther destinations in Thailand, Cambodia, Vietnam, China, and of course, Malaysia. There should be distinctive reasons for them to choose Bali instead, and the only way to know it for sure is to make your own holiday to Bali.
